Panelist Bio's

Sister Vinh:

My name is sister Anna Vinh Nguyen, a sister of the Lovers of the Holy
Cross Congregation. I come from the Catholic Diocese of Vinh, Vietnam. Currently I am an Assistant Director of Religious Education at Saint Peter the Apostle Catholic Church and School, Fort Worth Diocese. I graduated from Hue University of Sciences, Vietnam in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in Social Work. In 2018, I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Theology from Good Shepherd College in New Zealand. And in December 2020, I graduated with a master’s degree in Theology from Saint Meinrad Seminary and School of Theology, Indiana. I entered the Lovers of the Holy Cross Congregation of Vinh Diocese in 2003. After many years of living my vocation, I have discovered that being a religious is being a witness of Christ’s presence. As a sister, I desire to inspire other people with Christ’s love and care in whatever my mission is, and wherever I am stationed. My passion is being with and for children, and those in need. I love teaching them the faith, and the way of life according to the teachings of the Catholic Church. Being faithful with the teachings of the Church is my priority. With God’s grace, I, as a faith formator, will continue to dedicate my life to God through the life of service, to serve God's people, especially the youngsters and those entrusted to me.
